We support you

We are committed to helping talented and ambitious international students like you achieve their goals of studying at a world-class US university. Scholarship funding is available for both direct-entry and Pathway students. Awards range from $6,000 to $25,000.

To be considered for this opportunity, submit your application to a Pathway program and once you have received your offer letter, ask your education counselor whether there is a scholarship available. All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

INTO OSU Honorary Scholarship

Our former colleagues, Ian Sanders and Nancy Heiligman, both demonstrated tremendous commitment, leadership, and dedication to the establishment of INTO Oregon State University. In their honor, it is INTO OSU's pleasure to award scholarships to students exhibiting this same kind of leadership, commitment, and dedication to pursuits in higher education.

Amount: $12,000 tuition + $13,000 accommodations

Requirements
  • Fully admitted to an undergraduate 3-term International Year One program
  • The winner of this award will be a student leader at OSU. Write a 400-600 word essay describing a time when you were a leader. Describe one challenge and one success you experienced as a leader.
  • Interview for all finalists


INTO OSU Merit-Based Scholarship

Designed to help INTO OSU 3-term  Pathway students finance their programs, the Merit-Based Scholarship will be awarded to those students who excel academically.

Amount: $9,000 for Undergraduate/$12,500 for Graduate; both amounts pro-rated for 1-Term, 2-Term and 4-Term Pathway courses
Eligibility:
  • 3.0 GPA overall or higher for graduate
  • 2.9 GPA overall or higher for undergraduate
  • 3.3 GPA overall or higher for 1-Term and 2-Term Pathway programs (Undergraduate and Graduate)
  • First-year Pathway Students (Undergraduate and Graduate) automatically considered upon applying to Oregon State.
How to apply:  No action required. Qualified applicants are automatically considered.


INTO OSU Continued Success Scholarship

The INTO OSU Continued Success Scholarship helps students finance studies in a full OSU graduate or undergraduate program after a 3-Term Pathway program. Regardless of academic performance prior to the Pathway, this scholarship allows students to start anew and earn recognition for performing well in the US. This applies only to the year immediately following a Pathway program.

Amount: $6,000
Eligibility:
  • 3.75 overall or higher cumulative GPA achieved during 3-term Pathway program
  • Meet all progression requirements after a 3-term Pathway program
  • Fully admitted to an OSU degree program within one month of the Pathway ending

Cascades Continued Success Scholarship

Undergraduate students who complete an INTO OSU Pathway program on the Corvallis campus and progress to a degree program at OSU-Cascades may apply for this scholarship. 

Amount: $9,000
Eligibility:
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA overall or higher achieved during Pathway program
  • Fully admitted to an undergraduate degree program at OSU-Cascades 30 days from Pathway completion
  • No extension terms added to Pathway program
  • This applies only to the year immediately following a Pathway program

INTO OSU Regional Scholarship

University scholarships

Oregon State University (OSU) has many scholarships available for international students throughout their studies.

OSU International Baccalaureate Scholarship

Amount: $6,000/year, up to 4 years
Eligibility:
  • Fully admitted to OSU as an international transfer or freshman undergraduate student
  • Completion of the international baccalaureate diploma with a score of 30 or higher
  • Non-resident tuition status
  • Renewable with a minimum GPA of 3.0; no application required for renewal
How to apply: No action required. Qualified applicants are automatically considered.

OSU International Provost's Scholarship for Excellence

Amount: $6,000/year, up to 4 years
Eligibility:
  • Fully admitted to OSU as an international transfer or freshman undergraduate student
  • International student status
  • 3.5 GPA overall or higher
  • Non-resident tuition status
  • Renewable with a minimum GPA of 3.0; no application required for renewal

OSU International Honorary Scholarship for Corvallis Campus

Entering undergraduate students may apply for this scholarship. Awards are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study if renewal requirements are met.
Amount: $15,000 / year, up to 4 years
Quantity: 2 individual scholarships
To apply:  Write a 600-800 word essay describing your most impactful experience interacting with someone different from yourself (examples: different values, culture, language, etc.). Include challenges you faced, what you learned from that experience, and how you successfully navigated that relationship. Essay should be emailed to international.scholarships@oregonstate.edu.
Apply by: 
  • Round 1: February 15
  • Round 2: July 15
Requirements: 
  • Incoming GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Fully admitted to OSU as a first-year or transfer student
  • Interview for all finalists

 

International Student Continuation Scholarship

Amount: $5,000
Eligibility:
  • ISCS scholarships are for international undergraduate and graduate students who have been
    in their current program for at least one academic year and have demonstrated significant
    financial need as an international student at OSU.
  • Priority given to students in the final stages of their programs to assist in degree completion
