Are you thinking of applying to study at the University of Exeter? You could be eligible for a scholarship worth up to 100% of your tuition fees.

All students are welcome to apply, no matter what your background or financial circumstance.

Progression scholarships

College Pro-Vice-Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence

INTO and the University of Exeter are offering scholarships for the highest achieving progressors to each of the University’s Colleges.

Courses: All foundation pathways
Progression date: September 2018
Amount: £1,500 (plus certificate of academic excellence and meeting with Pro-Vice-Chancellor)
Availability: 2 per University College per year, one to be awarded for cohort 1 and one for cohort 2
Eligibility: Merit based, offered to the highest achieving students progressing to each University College.
No application necessary.

Engineering Award for INTO Academic Excellence 2017-18

INTO and the University of Exeter are offering scholarships for students progressing on to the University of Exeter in September 2018 from the International Foundation in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physical Sciences, or International Year One in Engineering.

Courses: International Foundation in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physical Sciences
International Year One in Engineering
Progression date: September 2018
Amount: £5,000
Availability: Unlimited
Eligibility: No application required. Awarded to every student selecting Exeter as their 'firm choice' in UCAS progressing on to the College of Engineering, Maths and Physical Sciences to study any of the following courses:

  • MEng Civil Engineering with Industrial Experience

Engineering Award for INTO Academic Excellence 2018-19

INTO and the University of Exeter are offering scholarships for students progressing on to the University of Exeter in September 2019 from the International Foundation in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physical Sciences.

Courses: International Foundation in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physical Sciences
Progression date: September 2019
Amount: £5,000, plus £1,500 for each subsequent year achieving a First.
Availability: 3 (2 for September start, 1 for January start)
Eligibility: No application required. Awarded to the highest achieving progressors to the College of Engineering, Maths and Physical Sciences to study any BEng or MEng programme.

Conditions

Successful scholarship holders will be expected to:

  • Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course
  • Successfully complete the course and progress to an eligible degree course at the University of Exeter
  • Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course

  • Letter of offer
  • Latest academic transcript
  • Evidence of English proficiency
  • One page personal statement

All applications will be reviewed by a scholarship panel and successful applicants will be notified via the email address provided on the scholarship application.

Scholarships, discounts and bursaries awarded by INTO can't usually be combined. Students will be awarded the reduction that is most beneficial to them.
